The Florida Council of 100 Selects Lisa Holland for Resident Membership

Sheltair Aviation is proud to announce

Sheltair Aviation is proud to announce that Lisa Holland, President of Sheltair, has been selected to become a member of The Florida Council of 100, a private, non-profit organization of business leaders promoting the quality of life and economic well-being of all Floridians.

At the request of Governor Farris Bryant, the Council was established in 1961 to provide him with advice on strategic Florida issues from a business perspective. Today, this organization continues
to accelerate Florida's economic growth through council members who have a high level of success and recognition in their business or profession, have demonstrated involvement in
Florida public policy issues, and possess the personal qualities of character, personality, and leadership ability.

"It is an honor to be welcomed into the Florida Council of 100. I am excited to serve alongside so many distinguished business professionals and to help make a difference in the lives of all those
who reside in the State of Florida," said Lisa Holland. "I look forward to building new relationships and ensuring that the future is bright for the next generation."

Chairman of the Membership Committee, Rodney Barreto, honorably extended the invitation to Lisa Holland to join the Council and welcomed her to the group on May 4, 2022. As President of Sheltair, Lisa has been instrumental to the family-run company's continued growth and success. Under her leadership, Sheltair employs nearly 500 Florida residents in eleven different cities while investing and developing essential aviation support infrastructure and privately funded economic development across the State's airports.

Lisa has also been recognized for her vital philanthropic philosophy. She has empowered Sheltair to support local food banks, engage with Florida's coastline cleaning program, Adopt a Shoreline, and launched the Future Takes Flight Scholarship program to support young generations of aviators. Lisa also pledged commitments to educational programs Project Liftoff in Daytona and Project Skylab in Lakeland by Embry Riddle and the Aerospace Center for Excellence, respectively.
